The Toronto Mennonite Festival, traditionally known as Black Creek Pioneer Village MCC Relief Sale, is a non-profit organization that supports relief, development and peace around the world, through Mennonite Central Committee (MCC): www.mcccanada.ca. MCC works with people in 60 countries around the world suffering from poverty, conflict, oppression and natural disasters. MCC strives for peace, justice and dignity of all people. Our sale and festival has raised over $1.3 million since our beginnings in 1967.
The festival attracts approximately 1,600 visitors annually because it is entertaining while raising money for a worthwhile cause. People come back every September because they know the event is run exclusively by volunteers with a passion for the festival and that net proceeds go to MCC’s work in Canada and around the world.
In order to ensure the continuing success of this event, we are seeking contributions to help defray the costs associated with the event, so that more of the revenue can go directly to MCC.
We invite you to sponsor us. Will you consider a sponsorship of $1,000? $500?
Generous donations make it possible for MCC to provide even more help to those in need around the world. We hope that we can count on your support to help us raise funds for MCC.
